Christian Nørgaard felt we let points slip away this afternoon as Steven Fletcher’s second-half double condemned us to defeat at Sheffield Wednesday. Bryan Mbeumo’s header sent us into the break ahead but Fletcher netted from the spot, then from close range, to turn the game around inside the final 21 minutes. Speaking after the game, today’s captain admitted it was a game we were in control of and shouldn’t have lost.
