    Real Madrid 1-1 Atlético de Madrid | HIGHLIGHTS | LaLiga 2022/23



    Real Madrid returned to LaLiga action with a draw against city rivals Atlético Madrid at the Bernabéu (Real Madrid 1-1 Atlético Madrid). The first half ended goalless, with both teams getting on the scoresheet in the second half after a dead ball situation. Atlético Madrid took the lead in the 78th minute through an Antoine Griezmann free-kick that found José María Giménez who headed the ball into the net. Luka Modrić’s corner brought on the equalizer, with the Croatian’s precise pass finding youngster Álvaro Rodríguez who was given a chance late on by Carlo Ancelotti. The youth team player’s incredible leap saw him connect with the ball and head it past Jan Oblak for 1-1 in the 85th. It was to be the final score as Carlo Ancelotti’s team now turn to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey against FC Barcelona on Thursday.

      Madrid still lacks a true clinical and goal scoring instincts player like Ronaldo, some of these half chances to Benzema would’ve been definitely utilized by any hungry goal instincts player… I still see Benzema as the playmaker kinda striker… I hope Alvaro Rodriguez is nurtured well to fill this void cuz he have that instincts in him… we were lucky with that last minute goal…

      Es increíble que este directiva los que manejan la política del club se queden callados ante los ataques de la prensa deportiva al club cuando se quedan callados ante el escándalo más grande de la historia del fútbol español y de eso No dicen nada la prensa deportiva española y la directiva del club merengue estén callados y no defienden a los jugadores ni a los ataques al club es una vergüenza de dirigentes que tiene el Real Madrid NO hacen nada.

      Es una vergüenza como partió jugando el Madrid, sin ganas, demasiadas imprecisiones, Asensio, Benzema y Kroos si no tienen ganas de ganar la liga simplemente no jueguen. El partido fue otro con Camavinga, Modric y Álvaro Rodríguez que fue una maravilla. Si le pusieran la mitad de la intención que en la Champions ganaríamos todo

      It was a very fun match. I enjoyed it. Both teams are very good, as if I were playing a soccer game. The soccer game is accurate in passing, but it is very difficult to do that in a real game.

      Ha sido una temporada pesada, pero no es nada que no se pueda mejorar calibrando la maquinaria, y una pieza central para ello sin duda es Álvaro. Es un gozo verle jugar con tanta ambición.
