Jonas' watts article – https://lanternerouge.com/2023/06/10/jonas-vingegaard-dominant-performance-at-altitude-criterium-du-dauphine-stage-7-2023/
Your analysis is brilliant. Thank you. Can't wait for the Tour.
It is amazing that now with disc brakes and bikes well over 7kg that you dont need oxygen vector compounds to do the mutant watts they did back in the old era of rim brakes and 6.8kg bikes with 1000g tubulars.
Aero disc bikes > EPO etc.
Valter has been very impressive this season
Dialogue is just way too fast for me to really get anything out of it. It all runs together without any pauses.
Max Poole is only just out of his teens, he's a talent.
Vingegaard rides away from his opponents with mouth closed on the mighty Croix de Fer. Fascinating.
Are we all being gullible suckers again ?
Unfortunately, we all know what it means when we see "scary" climbing and such a team domination.
I thought that the cows looked pretty chill, actually.
The fact that Jonas has recently been equal in TT to Pog, I don't know how you're supposed to crack him. 😅 Few seconds on punchy finishes maybe, but other than that, he is the fav for the Tour imo.
1) if you think pogacar can’t do this you have a very short memory.
2) is 40 seconds in 5kms really that much?
Campenart's aero position legal?
bernal has to be the biggest letdown cyclist in history at this point, how do you become so trash so quickly
My god he’s dull though. Makes Froome look interesting
sarms goblin
Would love your view/opinions on the dreadful organisation of the women's CIC Tour des Pyrénées, as the 3rd stage did not take place today on Sunday, rightfully so for safety concerns voiced by pretty much everyone.
lol after watching unchained, I kno about half of these people lol
Pogacar and Vinegaard in a league of their own will be a great tour.
Yates looks strong. UAE have a good team around Pog.
Why scarey? Is Jonas a terrorist or something?
terrific detailed breakdown of the final 5 km among the podium seekers. merci.
I’m really new to the sport of cycling (I just started watching and following it a month ago) and I have a question for anyone who’d like to answer. I heard the announcers talking during maybe stage 4 and one of the guys said “Wout Van Aert is really showing he wants to win the TdF” and the other guy chuckled and said “I’ll eat my hat if that happens. That will never happen” Is he a domestique or is it bc he’s a sprinter and not a climber?
Your getting better dude. Very cool
remco will beat Vingegaard in the TdF
Adam Yates being conservative on his efforts. If you compare his ride on the stage 7 of the UAE Tour when he dropped Remco and Sepp Kuss, he has the explosiveness to catch JV.. but didn't: https://youtu.be/bYg9anMxh6g?t=166
The tdf flat stages are a snooze feast, but I am looking forward to the mountains.
Only thing that will stop him is covid
On the one hand, the GC result was to be expected, he was a level above. But looking to the TDF, there's really only one rider he need worry about. One can only hope someone else in addition to the top two, bursts thru to make it somewhat more complicated.
Q: Why is Jumbo pushing so hard?
A: BECAUSE THEY CAN
🙂
So far this season Jumbo has been pushing the other teams around for their lunch money and anything else they have.
The cows were shocked🤣
Jonas is sparking the røv.
Looking forward too the Søren & Vingaard combo makiíng Denmark Proud!
I have one comment only: Recency Bias.
