Points Won/Lost after the 75th min. Ouch Blackburn.

  1. The only points we’ve lost after 75 mins were to Ipswich 2 weeks ago? This can’t be right. We also lost a point apiece in ET to Huddersfield and Leicester. Or were we losing on hitting 75 mins in both of those games anyway?

At any rate, this suggests little late drama at the Hawthorns, which makes sense when you see our GA column and our tragic inability to pick up points from losing positions.

Leicester with the joint most lost in the last 15 is a shocking stat for them, clearly they are fucking up their strategy with narrow leads at the end of games.

Delighted to have a team as mentally strong and physically fit as we are to help out here.

  3. “Joint second points won after the 75th minute, you’ll never sing that!” Unless you’re that lot south of the border, but they don’t count.

  4. Yeah… it was fucking awful in the earlier part of the season and generally under JDT. This was a common theme throughout his tenure beyond just this season as well (the most annoying instance being against Coventry towards the end of last season). To give credit where credit is due, we have looked like a MUCH more solid team under Eustace, especially in the later parts of the game. Hopefully, it’s just the start of improvements to come, and he can keep us up this year. It is slightly concerning that QPR and Sheff Wednesday have refused to die, but I’m optimistic that there are at least two worse teams than us to get gobbled up by the relegation spots. Big next three league games for us, though, as we have quite a difficult run of fixtures after that. Can only be happy if we get at least 6 points from that run to be honest.

  5. Ipswich are built different, reminiscent of Norwich 2018-2019 where it would be constant late clutch victories.

Can’t lose points after the 75th minute if you only start playing at that point most weeks
