This has been something I’ve really enjoyed this season. Felt like we didn’t get a last minute winner for years, now we’ve had 5 in just this season. Really gives you belief that you’re in it right until the end.

Pretty sure we’ve also picked up a couple of draws with last minute goals too. Norwich at home and Preston away spring to mind.

This includes goals that were not the “winning goal” at the time they were scored but ended up being decisive in the final result. For example, Marcus Harness’ 86th-minute goal to put Ipswich 3–1 up against Plymouth back in October is counted here as Argyle got one back in injury time to make the final score 3–2.

Edit: Also, teams with a greater percentage of their wins coming courtesy of late goals are listed higher up, e.g. Hull and Norwich have both won 16 games, whereas Leicester (also with three late winners) have recorded 25 victories, so the pair of them are ordered above the Foxes — Hull are simply listed ahead of Norwich as they come before them alphabetically.

All teams have played 35 games except for Birmingham and Middlesbrough (34).

Those extra 4 points for argyle are looking incredibly valuable now. Especially as they were against Stoke and Rotherham and literally with the final kick of the game in both. Praying it will see us over the line🤞

  4. The feeling of a 90+ minute winner when you’re in the ground is genuinely only rivaled by drugs
