I dunno how anyone could have thought Ipswich would be the worst performing of the three promoted teams, that’s just crazy. I’d have ordered them Ipswich-Plymouth-Wednesday at the start of the year, maybe flip the last two round now.
Aside from that it’s not terrible. I thought Stoke, for example, would do a lot better with what they spent. I was never too positive on Sunderland’s play off credentials either but otherwise theres logic there.
But Ipswich were always going to be far better than that.
