Cant remember last time our stadium not being full on kickoff.

e: I think people have completely misinterpreted what I’ve just said. In the 500+ games we’ve played over the last ten years I couldn’t remember a game, in particular, in which the stadium was empty. I probably couldn’t name a match from 2014-2018 apart from the ones I went to. Those times were incredibly boring and very easy to forget.

  2. Is this average season attendance? Or single match? Why not also show median attendance? Why not include all teams which spent >5yrs in the Championship over the last 10yrs rather than just this season’s?

Also the important number is the capacity, not the minimum attendance, right? So the percentage change should be calculated from capacity not from the minimum (154% should not be possible). Set like that, Coventry would be (23174-9119)/23174 = 61% variation, and Saints (30936-29844)/30936 = 3.5% variation.

  3. Also our average attendance in the PL last season was 29,371. The figure just never moves, we’re absurdly regular.

We get called tinpot now and again, but getting relegated and not seeing any drop in attendances is class.

    Leeds needs a bigger stadium.

I can totally see why the regulars and Eland Road faithful get annoyed at the fair weather lot. Being able to get a ticket whenever you want pre-2016 was a blessing.

Shocked at that. Saints been in the prem all that time and we’ve been depths of league 2. /s

  6. 27k is extremely low for us until I remembered the relegation season, how on earth did we pull 27k in during that absolute shit show.

When was the last league game that Blackburn sold out at least half their ground?

Also, The Hawthorns capacity is pitiful.

  8. I remember the dark division 3 days when there would be a huge cheer every time we got over 10k at a game.

  9. 24 years outside the prem, only had two opportunities to get back, three relegations to League One, three promotions back to the Championship and many years of hopeless, dull shit football with not even a cup run to get us going.

The loyalty our fanbase has will always amaze me.

  10. Us and Coventry being the bottom 2 can be perfectly explained by both our teams being in League 2 in the last 10 years.

Also in our case the Mayflower stand was under reconstruction so Home Park had less capacity for several years.

  11. It’s too high up here, I’m getting vertigo. Can we now go back to being 24th on another list somewhere please?
