On this day 10 years ago, Cardiff fans staged their biggest protest against the rebrand.
What an odd few years that was for the club. We felt the repercussions for years and possibly still do, some fans still say they won’t return until Tan is gone.
It definitely tainted our first year in the Prem. Then with all that stuff with Malky as well it wasn’t a great time to be a Cardiff fan, despite being in the PL.
We more than made up for it a few years later getting promoted again under Warnock wearing the correct colour. What an amazing couple of seasons that was.

Clubs never learn from the experience of others, do they? Don’t fuck with the badge, or the home colours. Away or third kit, knock yourself out, but badge or hime colours are off limits. Changing blue to red ‘because Wales’ was the daftest idea. Fair play to Cardiff fans for protesting, glad the club listened.
