    Come on you mighty Sulphurites.

Lowest highest end of season finish in the football league. You’ll never sing that.

  3. Boro finished 2nd in the championship (first division) in 97/98 but if it also goes on their highest finish in their highest division then fair enough

24th again! Shows how much we’ve underachieved historically in comparison to smaller towns and cities like Ipswich and Burnley.

Surprised to see Cambridges highest position is above Peterborough’s. I always think of Posh as the larger and more successful club.

  5. Paints a sad story of Forest Green, their highest finish being the first of two successive relegations straight back to the National League.

  6. Interesting how relatively few clubs from the South of England have won the League before.

Where’s that guy who was banging on about Birmingham being too big for League 1?

  8. As far as I can ascertain, the only team capable of beating their record this season (and they have) is Harrogate? And if they finish 7th they push Sutton to the bottom of the list.

  9. Never knew that about Bristol City and Cardiff, and probably would never have guessed.

We are in by far our best ever season this year. The mansfield 9-2 was very much a stinker, 8-0 to blackburn slightly less so but still dreadful

  11. Seeing some of those badges together makes me so nostalgic. Charlton, Bolton, Middlesbrough, QPR…
