  1. I get what he’s saying, but I feel like Rosenior could have transitioned into more attacking football – unless he’s refused the idea.

Let’s hope whoever comes in hits the ground running and we do play attractive, attacking football. Otherwise this is a huge blunder.

I also enjoy the idea of picking up points from going 4-1 and losing another game 3-2 rather than a load of 0-0’s, but it doesn’t exactly work that way. We shall see.

  2. >I said I would rather lose 3-2 than have a boring 0-0. If you are counting the points and draw every game 0-0 you are going to get relegated. If you lose 3-2, it means you will win another game 4-1.

With owners like these who needs enemies…

I would be seriously worried if I was a Hull fan. These are the worst kind of owners – the ones who think they understand football but are actually clueless

  4. I remember Allardyce getting sacked for the same reason… Look where we are now

  5. I don’t even know what people define as attacking football anymore.

People used to take possession football as the definition. But these days its become almost a means of defence.
We retain 75% possession or whatever, but a load of our games are mad borefests which end as 1-1 due to RMs insistence of Bazunu playing with his feet in his own 6 yd box

  6. Get Paul Lambert, I was constantly offended by his style of football when he was at Ipswich.

Lots of fan speculation he’ll be coming to us. If Bulut doesn’t extend I wouldn’t be against the idea at all, just concerned he’d be leaving one mad hat owner for another

  8. It’s always comforting to see other owners stick their heads further up their asses than ours.

  9. I get wanting to change from a defensive style to a more front footed one. But I certainly wouldn’t call Rosenior a defensive manager, just a possession heavy one.

Either way, changing manager when you finished 3 points out the playoffs in a really tough championship is absolutely bonkers.

I’m sure the “offensive football” comment will not come back to bite him if Hull are 23rd in November

Steve Bruce plays offensive football, but you’ve already been there done that.

  12. That moment when another club’s owner makes you grateful you are only run by a billionaire’s fake-wrestling obsessed narcissistic nepo baby.
