Ends up with one of the worst ever records at the club and was given the chance to turn it around. I honestly wanted him to stay, but…
Off you fuck.

Watching the interview before the final game I think this was coming. He spent the whole time slagging everything off.

When he was appointed, the thread was full of Huddersfield fans saying that’s them safe and looking to the PL next year, with the only two saying it was risky downvoted to oblivion and told they were wrong.

Was given a very odd amount of leeway by Huddersfield fans compared to Darren Moore despite being objectively worse
Shows how modern football fans will forgive anything as long as the manager promises “attacking play”. Odd people

Least he removed the mention of Town from his Insta bio before the last match. Ffs it took Jesse Marsch about four months to remove LUFC from his and I’m not kidding – i used to check weekly to make sure.

People talking about his rant (not on here, I mean on podcasts and in the media) seem fairly outraged about it and that he was distancing himself and absolving himself of blame, but I’ve got to admit I quite liked his honesty and feel like it probably needed saying. But it only works on that basis if he stays and fights to change the culture there and clearly he isn’t going to. Given his record with limited resources, from the outside I thought he looked like quite a decent fit there regardless of the failed attempt to keep them up. He didn’t get a transfer window, but if Hudds’ idea of ‘over delivering’ in Jan is signing one striker from a vastly inferior league who’d need time to adapt and one still recovering from an ACL who could only be used very sparingly, he was always up against it.

Not up for the fight, won’t be missed.
