Managers with the most Championship (not second tier) games managed, as well as the highest Championship PPG (min 25 matches). How many have managed your club?

One I believe but I could be corrected I’m being Dave Jones? The only reason Neil hasn’t managed us because half of Sheffield would burn down while the other side celebrate I believe

Just the largest of Sams.

Makes our owners look even worse for getting rid of Mogga really.

Surprisingly few of them have managed us. We had Nigel Person and Steve Coppell managed us for a single Championship game. We lost 3-0. What a drama that was.
I do love how that will forever mean he’s listed as having “2 clubs” on this list.

Rafa the Pig, Silva and Large Samuel.
Surprised Neil got a job at Torquay
Hopefully their new owners can get them out of the utter financial clusterfuck they’re in

Big Sam and TM!

I’m surprised Clough is on the list considering he’s only had around 6 seasons at Championship level.
I guess it shows how little time a lot of managers get at this level.

Alex Neil and Billy Davies
Interestingly, Alex Neil is 10th for most games managed and he’s only 42 years old. Plenty of time for him to top the list

To this day I’m still amazed Mick McCarthy didn’t manage us between 2010 and 2017 just seemed so obvious

Oh Big Sam, you were perfect for us. If only that old fool, Roy Hodgson, hadn’t decided to put our best striker on corners…

Dave Jones (but in the PL) and Nigel Pearson. Both did a pretty good job. Both had to deal with a lot of shit, in very different ways.

Arguably 3.
McKenna and McCarthy are probably obvious.
Mogga was caretaker when Burley was sacked; took charge of 4 matches before Joe Royle came in.

None on the most games list, but Kompany sat pretty at the top of the other one.
His PPG is really going to be tested next season though. That being said, he would _only_ have to get **75 points next year** to have the highest PPG amongst **managers with more than one season**.

Warnock is at Torquay?

People rightly criticise the Rooney debacle but we were so unlucky with the Mowbray situation. We’d have stayed up at a canter with him healthy.
Love the big man. Hope he can add more managed games to that with us soon.

It suddenly.ly makes sense why we hired Nuno, just in case….

Bielsa and Farke the two best to do it over more than one season

Warnock is a twat. I have nothing more to add to this conversation but I felt that it still needed to be said .
