Branthwaite would be a poor signing imo. Not that he isn't good, but we should look for a ballplaying, passing and forward going CB. Branthwaite is a brick wall in defending, but useless in possession. There are lot's of much better options on the market. Willian Pacho is much better for the same price (55 ish). Todibo is better and only 40. Simakan, Tapsoba, Boscagli, Silva etc etc. All good options. Reinildo for a bargain price could be a good short term solution so we can spend on other players. Anselmino could be a good investment too, high potential and already a solid option and still affordable for about 20m. Next year it'll be double that I expect.
I really can't say if Ineos is doing good so far no players has been sold and no players have been bought it's all stories and speculation at this point
