The agent, who is a friend of Edu, told him that his heart was set on Barcelona, but if that fell through they could look at negotiating something. Chelsea didn't effect anything, because he always wanted to go to Barcelona and all Arsenal ever did was inquire about keeping in the loop. We were never "in for him" as so many report.

I think United channels and transfer news channels need to be more mature in the way they talk about transfers. Last summer we were linked with over 100 players so as a United fan I really don’t want to hear any language like United are “monitoring” any players.
