Being the cynical sod I am, I see this as a just in case extension by both parties just in case a big contract comes calling and then has to pay more to release him from his contract.
Hope Wednesday can keep him though, clubs deserve a good manager, meanwhile the other side of the city, god knows what’s going on there.

Without a doubt the best bit of business we could have done this summer. Last year on the back of the playoffs we were being talked about in glowing terms by all corners of world football. There was an air of positivity and momentum like I haven’t seen in years. Then chansiri threw a spanner, wrench and 48 piece socket set into the works by sacking Moore and appointing the worst manager I’ve ever seen. We were dead and buried when Danny came in. The fact he kept us up is arguably a bigger achievement than Moore’s.
I’m pretty sure every single Wednesday Fan is just waiting for the other shoe to drop. And praying to whatever God they believe in that chansiri keeps his gob shut and has actually decided to act like a proper owner instead of a narcissistic, thin skinned man child. All he has to do is listen to people who know more than him and act on their suggestions.
