  1. Until we find out what’s happening with pep I think any transfers are gonna be tough to convince players to join let alone ones who are gonna need teaching our style of play, think it’s gonna be a weird summer transfer market for us&concerned we’re actually gonna get left behind 🤔

  2. City hate 9-figure deals since they received all the blowback from the Grealish transfer which is one reason why they fought tooth and nail to get the Gvardiol deal under 9-figures in Euro – all about perception. Not saying I agree, but it seems that they are pretty steadfast on that. All that said, I cant see how Bruno G comes for under 9-figures and in all honesty, I'd prefer to get Kimmich which will cost a lot less, is a ready made player can easily play the double pivot with Rodri and give him rest when needed, can play RB and can float and even the work of an 8 if needs be. He is as close to a Gundo replacement that we will find. The price is right; his age is right (seasoned but not over the hill by any stretch); he gets on great with Pep and it is highly doubtful he will not easily adjust to our system as he has played derivatives of it under Pep at Bayern. Kimmich is a no-brainer.

Use the funds saved taking Kimmich over Bruno G towards another ready-made player with experience. We got our youngsters in last season (save Kova) and we're already getting the player from Girona this summer. Let's focus on a few ready-made seasoned players OR if we're going to splash the cash, let do it for a KDB eventual replacement and not spend all that extra money on Bruno G

  3. Yes he has some weaknesses but we've seen players improve significantly under pep time and time again i hope we can sign him and he does bits for us

  4. Is a conundrum for sure…… Pep can develop Bruno …Of that I am certain….. We shall see yea …. Proper analysis Johnny 👊

  5. I have watched a lot of Gruno G and what I noticed is that he loses the ball a lot when put under pressure. He is okay playing from deep but as soon as he is in possession outside the opposition penalty box he becomes a liability

  6. Every player that has come to City, has fallen short in one way or another, so what you see today is the constant teaching at City that assists players to improve their game and get to a higher level! I would not worry too much, except for the price! I would think 80 Mil would be enough! After his initiation, I reckon we will see Guimaraes reaping the benefit of the lessons, he is young and strong and would be a great addition!

  7. Bruno is not coming to play the Rodri role. I think he's coming to play with Rodri in the Gundogan role. Basically, what Rice was possibly planned to play. Could you compare him with Kimmich & Neves (Benfica). I think these are the realistic options.

  8. Very good analysis. As someone who wants Bruno at all costs, I have to admit that those figures are alarming. The price tag is the problem, for 100M you need to be pre-assembled

  9. On the other hand we need goals in the team and should we not trust the best ball playing coach do improve those qualities since he can naturally do the rest?

  10. Spot on Assessment Johnny in the dispositions side of things. The statistics don't lie. The spotted area of Guimareas is cause for concern. It may also be a matter of playing from the back without adequate support in the build up. Overall your insightful assement is greatly welcome. Right on mate.

  11. If we want to pay 100 million in Bruno Noway mate
Better to buy the Portuguese number 26 international guy right back if we're selling if we selling Bernardo Silva his release closest 105 million this guy is superstar can you talk about that guy please

  12. Hmm depends on pep’s contract extension… can not see Expensive players in , unless pep does intend to extend … otherwise meh transfer it will be . In preparation for upcoming manager and he choices with players …..

  13. Guimaraes lost a lot of balls because long passes are harder to control than short passes.
If he played for City, he would have lost the ball less times.

  14. I believe that the most effective approach is to recruit a player such as Kimmich to serve as the defensive midfielder, while Rodri transitions to the gundo role.

  15. Great video, Bruno is still a great player just I personally wouldn’t want to be spending over 70m as I believe even though we can’t get him now I think he’s the better player. I’m also confused as are we getting Bruno/kimmihc to add to the squad or will we go for them if we sell a player as I think there’s no room to add to the midfield without selling and imo I think we’d better off go for kimmich or a number 10 like eze, olmo or musiala

  16. Yeah I've not been sure how to feel about this whole Bruno Guimares thing, but this video has given plenty of insight into his strengths and weaknesses, so cheers mate! 👍 It's also been a little awkward seeing as my uncle is a Geordie and probably won't speak to me if we were to sign one of their best players. 😂 Keep up the fantastic content my friend!! 👊💙

  17. I'm a Newcastle fan and I agree. I'd hate to see him leave but he does lose the ball a fair bit. It's the only weakness and frustration I can see. He's brilliant so send Pep this video and hopefully we can keep him 😉

  18. As a Newcastle fan, I agree disposessions (and pace) are his only weakness, but I don't think it's simply sloppiness. A big % of when he loses the ball is a) when he's carried our midfield alone next to a 17-yr-old and an injured immobile Longstaff for half the season (missing Tonali, Joelinton and Willock), or b) when we're losing and carrying no threat, and Bruno starts taking big risks to make something happen, which sometimes goes wrong. He wouldn't have either of those problems playing in your side so wouldn't be losing the ball much – he's never losing it due to technical level. Anyway I certainly hope that stat puts Pep off him!

  19. This is like comparing apple to oranges, you need ti understand hiw Newcastle plays to understand his stats. We play single pivot in which bruno plays as deep line play maker, the opponents sometimes have 3 players marking bruno alone to stop our ability for buildup, now this wont happen with a team that has high technical double pivot players, he is paired with sean longstaff who's inky ability is box crashing, rest if the heavy lifting is done by Bruno alone.

  20. A little bit you will never sea he has sed he loves Newcastle and wants to stay at the club pep is a sneaky little man every time we played you he would rap his skiny arms around Bruno I love you we want you pleas Bruno pleas hahaha no he's a very good manager he nose Bruno is unreal but lads he's staying put hopfuly but with ffp who nose

  21. he's just bought a £4 million house in Newcastle, extremely happy , and why would anyone sign for a club that may well end up in the championship after the FFP hearings? The arrogance is level with the other Mancs nowadays….
