>As Head of Performance at FC Bayern, Walter Gfrerer will be responsible for athletics and performance across all clubs from 1 July. He will be responsible for the licensed players as well as for FC Bayern Women and the young talent at the FC Bayern Campus. The 51-year-old Austrian worked as athletics coach at VfL Wolfsburg last season and previously worked as performance manager at AS Monaco and as fitness coach at RB Salzburg.

>Maciej Jagiellowicz will become Team Manager Licence Player Team Management, and Samuel Geiler will join his team internally from FC Bayern’s partner support department. Bastian Wernscheid, who previously spent three years in team management and has been with the club since 2017, has been supporting Chief Sports Officer Max Eberl and Sports Director Christoph Freund as Head of Sport since 1 January.
