While I think he’s a weapon on insta, commenting on a player’s post to be a pest isn’t really on.
On the flip side, arguing with fans also really isn’t on and he should be ignoring the hate he gets.

to be quite honest i’m sick of our fans complaining about everyone. cantwell posts on instagram, so what? i don’t think making them feel like shit is going to make them want to perform for us.

He can shut the doubters (like me) up completely by performing to his abilities consistently and in the biggest games we play. I hope to be silenced as I’m quite critical of him.
He’s got all the potential to be a star for us in the SPL, but doubt remains he’ll ever reach it.

It’s part and parcel of social media so he has to deal with it better, he’s happy enough to sit and see the likes going up and reading all the comments praising him so he has to be prepared for negative comments.
I really want to like Cantwell, but he really makes it difficult.

Ugh, we could really do without the circus. Speaks of being incredibly insecure to be arguing with disgruntled fans (and the support should be disgruntled, we haven’t won the league in 3 years).
Would be looking to cash in and replace with another 10 who gives us the creativity/goals in that role, but most importantly, acts like a Rangers player off it.

Cantwell really should stay the fuck off social media, he’s a bit embarrassing on it.

He had the caption “The best is to come” which he promptly removed and after a season and a half being part of a team who shat it close to the finish line and he’s never shown up on a meaningful Old Firm match either.
Matondo also liked his “weapon” reply to the user.
Shows the disconnect between fans and players as it widens.

True that rangers should perform on the pitch and not on social media but there again what do you expect from them as the first team is pure shit
