      I’m being overexcited but I genuinely have such a high opinion of Gray that this deal is probably the signing i’ve wanted to happen the most this summer, fingers crossed we get it over the line 🤞🏻

      It wouldn’t shock me if Ornstein reporting that Brentford was going to get him was a strategic leak by Leeds to make us make our move

      we’ve been needing to get back to sign talented championship players, very happy with this.

      edit: he can become club trained in 3 yrs as well (very very useful) if he doesn’t need a loan.

      Big Ange probably had a call with Gray during his medical and flipped the switch, wrap it up boys!

      He can play as a backup to Porro and DM, only 18 so he’ll become club trained HG 3 years time + is already classified as Homegrown. He’s already a good Championship player so it’s not like he’ll struggle massively with the step up, one of the best youngsters in England.

      Personally, I would’ve been fine if we didn’t get him, but this is a homegrown player that can do great with us for more than a dozen year. Really good signing and I hope he adapts well to a higher level like Adam Wharton.
