Finding out our club captain is leaving from a youth players instagram story is unbelievable. The lack of communication and all around competence from the club is an absolute joke to the players and the fans. I fear we are in for another long, depressing season. Strap in, lads.

Getting back from this to being promotion contenders is going to take more than one long depressing season. I’m starting to worry about going down to league 1 at this point.
Gutted and also expected. Hopefully Worrall comes in.
Another big loss for me. Seems we are determined to have no squad before the season starts.
If we had a full squad, and we hadn’t been relegated as badly as we were, I could stomach this. He’s getting on and off the back of a long time out injured.
However, given our current situation, this is a huge blow to us. We are going to be left with nothing and having to bring at least 10 players in, probably more. And then they are all going to have to be integrated. This season is going to be rough.
I think this is time we start getting this piss poor prince out. Regardless of who is there to buy. How he has allowed this situation to get this far is beyond me. I’ve defended him a fair bit, we’ve done well under his ownership. But to not have a squad of senior players available at the start of pre season is ludicrous.
