So happy he’s finally getting some more recognition. Coming to Chelsea would always make him a villain to most fans, but seeing our fans treat him like trash sucked.
Maybe it’s the new way of the world, but there’s a percentage of vocal fans that are supremely negative about our own players. I’m 100% ok with being critical, thinking they should be sold, or just finding them not good enough. But since the CHO-to-Bayern saga and then exacerbated by the signing of Jorginho, we’ve had this “need” to just really truly shit on our own players.

I thought it was funny that this board was so outraged at pundrity against him. Cucurella has been one of the better defenders on the field for Chelsea the entirety of his tenure.
