Good, it seems the club is doing their best to create an environment for the manager that fits the ideology. He never got the chance to do these kinds of hires under the Glazers if I’m correct.

The +1yr activation could be seen as a lack of long-term confidence in the manager. But on the other hand, INEOS are going all out on the coaching staff and giving Ten Hag the best chance to succeed.
This is starting to look like the result of a well-informed, competent decision-making process.

Lmao ten Rouwelaar has been there for 4 days officially and he’s already going.
By the way, he coached Noppert (World Cup starting gk for the Netherlands) and Verbruggen (now the starting gk for the Netherlands) in his Anderlecht days under Kompany and was very influential to his career according to his own words. He’s highly rated.
