Kai Havertz’s Germany have been knocked out of the Euros. Good showing from our boy nevertheless.

  1. Should have left Havertz on. That forward that missed the last header, he was trash.

  2. His movement and awareness of space were of great advantage to Germany. It was quite palpable. His finishing is ass like his pet at his OG home. 😎 He is my favourite! đŸ„č

Overall in the tournament I’d give him a 5/10. An okay showing imo. Good and bad moments.

Today, he was a 3/10. He was bad. Fulkrug should’ve started.

Good news is he’s back for pre season quicker. Should have a decent squad by the time Emirates Cup friendlies come around.

  4. Good tournament from him. Comes back relatively early too interested to see how much of a break the euros players get. Hopefully Saka and rice return tomorrow as well.

Don’t think they lose if Kai stays on tbh, he caused issued at the end of the 90, then pulled for extra time with a few gassed Germans left on the field

  6. Fat fella’s misses will be the one that’s remembered so all good on that front. All round play was good and when he’s taken off they missed his energy big time, especially with Muller’s 64 year old self on the pitch.

Get some rest big man, re-charge and get 25 G/A up top for us in the league next season.

  7. Missed quite the chances today but will fight r/soccer defending him. I hope the fucking lowest of lives don’t harass him on the socials

It’s alright. Kimmich can now prepare his zoom meeting with Arteta.

  9. I’m obviously biased but I thought taking him out was a massive mistake. He creates chances out of nowhere, sure he missed some but those chances simply don’t exist without him on the pitch.

  10. He had a bit of a disasterclass in front of goal, but he was also the only forward consistently generating chances for Germany.

Oh well. And now we can find out who the mystery German player that we’re apparently signing is lol.

  11. he was great whole tournament except for finishing, and like him but the amount of chances he missed is very worrying

  12. No it wasn’t, scoring two penalties from 4xg in the tournament just isn’t good enough. I love the guy but this blind praise needs to stop

  13. Bah there’s this weird agenda when half you lot blindly defend this dude and it’s pathetic

  14. Reading the thread on r/soccer was infuriating. It’s like the popular thing and cheap upvote method is to shit on Kai. Musiala was poor too, yet nothing is said. Fullkrug missed a clear header, unmarked and everything, yet it’s deemed unlucky, and he’s such a fox in the box.

If Kai had missed that in the 123rd minute, the slandering would have been insane.

and this is why some of us are wary of him being our starting striker next season. Plenty of chances, decent play but not nearly enough goals

People need to accept that just bc he’s playing as the 9 doesn’t mean that he’s a finisher

As far as Kai is concerned, let’s never talk about this tournament ever again. Upto bigger things pal đŸ‘ŠđŸ»

Classic Havertz marmite performances. No one will be honest. One extreme end of the spectrum or the other.

Breaking news: Havertz’s finishing is poor. Like we haven’t known this all season.

  20. He was mediocre as hell lol. Any decent striker finishes the chances he had and it’s the reason we need one

Overly criticized to an extreme extent, it became a sport in Germany to hate him – most painful to watch event fans with zero ball knowledge who just don’t understand the things he does criticize him, but on the other hand, there is room to improve, which I am sure Arteta can unlock better than Nagelsmann.

  22. Lol he was back to being average.
If we are happy with an average striker who might turn into form for 10-15 games, then we are not beating pep.

Arteta already mentioned in his interview that we have a team that did 90-95% of what’s required to win a title in the last two years, but we couldn’t close it out.
The obvious reason is that we still lack the players who can be decisive in those key moments./

He missed like a dozen chances.. are you blind? He did make a few good runs but were finished if he’s our only striker with Jesus. Please buy a striker Mikel.

I just hope King Kai didn’t suffer a back injury from fucking carrying Germany’s attack all tournament.

I’ll defend his socials, but r/soccer is for degenerates
