He’s got a track record of taking too good teams out of this division tbf.

But I’ll be honest I’ve got no real idea how strong their squad is relative to the other contenders

His championship record is good enough to make this a sensible appointment in the short term imo

He could quite easily take Burnley up. But the second there’s a “P” next the them in the table they should get rid.

100% record in the championship. Can’t grumble with that.

If he takes us up, and simply gets us relegated again, he could be in line for the Real Madrid job.

Im so fucking feel bad for Burnley but I guess Parker is not bad for an appointment because he had a decent track record in Championship overall

  6. I’ll take that. He did get promoted with better teams than we have before but he knows the division and his style should fit the players we already have ok.

Incredibly unique and courageous prediction: they will go up and he will be gone by january 2026

  8. I don’t really think he’s a very good manager, but this is the worst squad he’s had on the Championship, should prove whether he’s actually good or always had good teams.

  9. Undeniably, Scott Parker has a great record in the Championship and I am thankful to him for getting Bournemouth promoted a couple of years back. However, the outstanding memory of Scotty P will always be the post-match interview after the infamous 9-0 drubbing to Liverpool. His shocking attitude in that interview made the entire fanbase lose faith in him, rather than the result. For this alone, I would encourage any team with Premier League aspirations to steer way clear of him.
