If I was Gordon I’d probably just jump back on the plane with Schar right now, there’s just no point in him being there for England

Gordon could be utilised in the latter stages, if I recall last few times there have been players similarly ignored and then given a match towards the later stages which threw the opposition out of kilter.
Could be a tactic. Could equally just have a thing against Gordon.

I can understand Palmer coming on ahead of him, he was genuinely great this year and has played well when he’s come on in the tournament, but Eze is baffling. Why do we need three number 10s on the pitch?
