£60m for a man who’s probably going to miss 3-4 months every season, no thanks mate

  2. Great player and would be awesome for us but I wouldn’t be shelling out 60mill for him to play half the season

The article says we value him at 45m. Even that, to me, is more than I would pay. I would look for a deal at 40m and go to 45m at the highest. Much rather look at a Bakayoyo beyond that price.

Worried we are building a hospital team between Maddison Richy and Neto.

  5. Bad source and too much on the price tag. With that said, we do need someone who can bang in some outside the box shots when teams sit back and Neto certainly has that in his bag.

He’s a brilliant, brilliant player that comes with a lot of risk. Personally I think we should go for it knowing that him and Deki can cover right wing, and he really is just a ridiculously good player that can boss the wing in the premier league comfortably. But yeah, injury record isn’t great

get Raphinha, ugly stylistically but does the job and fits like a glove

  8. Everyone saying how great he is minus the injury issue. 11 goals in 111 matches after a quick search. He is fun to watch and looks good, but that’s a bad return.

He’s a glass cannon… I’d rather have a healthy player who can last the entire season without breaking something

Hard pass. Just a massive, unjustifiable risk given the glaring injury issues. Would be very disappointed in the team if this move materialized.

  11. Neto is super talented, but first and foremost, he has a worrisome injury record. Not to mention, we already have Brennan Johnson and Kulusevski on the right, is it really great business to spend 60 million on another right winger after dumping 45 on Brennan?

  12. Id be very happy with getting Neto for 30-35 mil. Fine with 40-45. For 60 Id just get a different player.

As a wolves fan I’ll say this.

While he’s had lots of injuries each time he comes back stronger. Also we’ve severely lacked forwards the last few years and people who can progress the ball since adama left.

We’ve played him 90 minutes every game – focusing all our attacks through him.

With rotation and careful management I don’t imagine his injury issues will continue. Neto was on pace for 20+ assists this year if he never got injured. His output is absolutely insane.

  14. Pedro Neto’s minutes per season in the league since 20/21 (his last season without major injury it seems):

    21/22 – 466

    22/23 – 972

    23/24 – 1521

Son played 2,959 minutes in the league this season alone. He’s a good player but absolutely not worth the gamble for us for that fee

Yes, please. Without the injuries, he would already be at City, Bayern, Real or one of those clubs.
The injuries make it a gamble, but I think it’s worth it.
