Being able to bring on Toney, Watkins, Palmer, Shaw, Eze, TAA, is invaluable.
Compare it to the Dutch bench, the Swiss bench. It’s night and day.
Jude is one of the most complete midfielders in the world. Insane dueller (both offensive and defensive), great dribbler, large space carrier. 1st and 2nd phase play is good/great but still improving, brilliant final phase play. All of the physical and technical qualities to be a great playmaker, along with the mental qualities to execute.

I’m gonna sound proper old but I’m finding all the arguments online about the England players pretty tedious. It feels like a new thing because I don’t remember it being like this growing up. Everyone got behind the national team and ultimately wanted to celebrate winning major tournaments.
Now it’s about scoring internet points over each other. Also, I think now that the game has become a lot more global, people with no affiliation to England just stick to the players they watch in the PL and hence the tribalism persists.
Perhaps the younger England fans are getting caught up in it too? I guess it doesn’t help that the morons on the TV care more about pushing agendas than actually sticking to analysis.

I think England are more of a favorite against Spain than otherwise although it is close to even. They are perfectly capable of nullifying many of Spain’s strengths and take advantage of Spain’s weaknesses in defense and quite an open midfield.
DG recently dropped a video on Reijnders. Gotta say I was impressed with him this tournament even though I haven’t seen much of him at Milan. Seems like he would suit us pretty well though.
