I thought Tim Weah was unfavored last year, while McKennie was integral to the squad. I know they have a new coach, but I didn't expect to see Weah ascending and McKennie on the outs.
Weston McKennie endeared himself to me when the usmnt played Mexico in a final and his jersey was ripped, maybe had blood on it, and he walked off the field kissing the crest on the jersey trolling the Mexican fans. IDC if he’s fat or playing, dudes a boss.
City could sign him as a Rodri backup with all the money they just got from Julian Alvarez deal. Can also play a CM if Kovacic or Nuñes don’t perform well in certain games. Just a possibility but who knows.
In terms of what more he could have done to boost his stock, he could have turned up to the Copa in shape instead of the obese heap that struggled to get around the field and make an impact.

They said he would not play at all and find a team to sign asap.
I know this sounds crazy but. Wrexham would be a great place for Weston to call home.
