  1. It’s not really a coincidence that players tend to perform better after leaving Chelsea as they seem to find their form on a different club with a much more stable environment. Christian Pulisic had an excellent debut season at AC Milan where in all competitions, he had 15 goals and 10 assists 25 G/A as this was his most prolific season of his career from a statistical perspective and at times he was their best player because the team as a whole were up and down and weren’t consistent enough. He was chipping in with a lot of goal contributions (goals and assists) and overall his performances were very good and while he mostly plays his best off the left side, on the right or as an attacking midfielder, he has been able to perform well while not always playing in his natural position.

What makes Chelsea a mockery is the fact that after struggling with injuries there, the season after he left, he has actually done a great job when it comes to staying fit as he barely even got injured last season and has actually been cooking on the pitch. AC Milan now have a new manager and I’m interested to see if Pulisic is able to replicate his exploits from last season because if he adds consistency to his game and makes sure that he’s producing and is on the pitch every game, he can elevate his game and become one of the best wingers in the world since he’s still only 25 years old and he’s in his prime meaning that he hasn’t reached his ceiling. Based off of his excellent performance against Barcelona yesterday where he got a goal and an assist in the first half, he is showing no signs of slowing down and the number 10 role suits him because him playing behind a striker allows him to utilize his technical ability in a central role and he has a lot of freedom to express himself and overall I’m expecting big things from him.

  2. ESPN’s 2-minute talk about literally anything Serie A-related — and it’s only because of an American player.

Would love to listen to more Serie A content from the studio.

  3. Pulling for Pulisic to stay on an upward trajectory. He has skills, needs to keep improving his game especially if it's a serious possibility he'll take up the 10 role. He's one of maybe two US national team players I'd rank as an upper tier international (not superstar, just not a mid-level, sub/bench warmer). Enjoy watching him play and steadily improve.
