  1. tbh great deal for player that we wouldnt use that much this season, and wasnt playing his best for a while

still super likeable player, homegrown and always hoped that he would grow into a monster in midfield, good luck to him

  2. Sad but great deal for all involved, I think he’s our second highest academy sale after Kane? Wouldn’t be surprised if he smashes it and comes back some day, but he needed regular football and a sale is better than a loan

  3. The pearl-clutching about selling a club-trained player really drives home how poor the team has been at developing its own talent lately. I feel that is definitely changing for the better but it’s just going to take a while to become apparent

Skipp is one of our own and always will be. While his form may have dropped after his injury, he made me a fan for his effort and commitment to the club (called in to be a LB, if some may recall)

Some highlights that stand out include the beautifully driven pass to Werner against Man U in Jan 2024, the goal against Chelsea in 2023 (obviously), and putting in work against Barca in preseason ‘23 (I know that game didn’t matter but those driving runs into the box 🥹)

I have a feeling he’s going to kill it at Leicester. Sad to see him go but wishing all the best to him!
