  1. Wondering how much the deal is gonna be but can’t imagine it being double figures.

  2. Will be a good move for all parties. Pellistri doesn’t look like he has a realistic chance under ETH.

Let’s see what price will be quoted.

  3. A panic buy in the no-Sancho summer. Some awful loans. No manager has ever rated him. Shame really cause he always looks decent for Uruguay.

Can’t imagine we’ll even get our money back, but good luck to him

We’ll never forget the assist for Bruno vs. Fulham Facu, hope we get a somewhat decent price for a guy who’s an experienced Uruguay international.

  5. No way they have the money even to to cover his cost to us. What’ll he move for, 5 mil?

  6. Buyback clause and sell on clause. No reason not to include these in sales of young players from now on.

  7. I’d be surprised if we can even get 3 mil for him, seeing how Greek clubs are not big spenders.

Still remember forlan hyping this dude. Don’t know if it was ever there but if it was. He didn’t come close to his potential

My Uruguayan friend is in love with him and upset we don’t ever use him but I always tell him he that he won’t make it at United. Simply not good enough

There’s a good little player in there but not for the level we need him to be. It was always likely to be the case that he never kicked on to elite levels and Amad did. That seems to be what’s transpiring.

  11. Him and Garna are super close hope it doesn’t affect garnacho and his gf (she’s best mates with facus gf)

  12. A good move for him. At his age he needs constant playing time which he will not get at united. Not his fault btw. Wish him the best of luck wherever he went to.

Reading some of these comment is sad. I think he’s worth more than people give him credit for. Starting for his country and can be really valuable to another club. Hopefully (regardless of intent) it would be wise to include a buy back clause.

  14. Shame it didn’t work out for him. He’s clearly a handy player, he’s performed well for Uruguay and we’ve seen him have some moments of quality. He’s just too far down the pecking order here and his loan spells were weren’t very productive.

Doubt a Greek team will be willing to cough up much so a sell on and/or a buyback clause would be smart business.

  15. Probably around 8m euros for us to y’all, just guessing.

Our manager is Diego Alonso, the former Uruguay NT manager, so he’s definitely a reason for this.

I think he’s good enough for a midtable la liga side but if only a Greek club is in for him that’s sad

Hopefully we break even but can’t see it . Hopefully a high sell on clause of 30-40%

  18. thats a terrible move for him, no way there isn’t a club in the top 5 or 7 leagues that wouldn’t pay as much as panathinaikos, he’d kill it at ajax or something like that without falling of everyone’s radar and get a good transfer after…

    Just a curiosity:

If Pellistri leaves, then how many *deadwoods* are still left in the club ? Have we done a truly clean house this summer or there still some people need to go ?

  20. oh cool. wonder if Sancho leaves too and we go get one more forward or this is all to fund Ugarte/a midfielder

  21. If we sell Facundo, we will not have anyone using squad numbers from 26 to 34. Shocking!!

    Jk Just an observation.
