I’m glad he’s getting a chance again, but the man’s been through hell the last two seasons just to get on the field.

In was in some ways I was hoping he found on new home, but happy to see he will be back.

  1. I mean he was finally accepted and appreciated by the fans and the team, then chose to try to force the club’s hand to give him a higher pay.

Probably came from his agent or something, but it really is despicable behavior.

I think they just wanted to get rid of the “the old guards” except the few pieces that still can do better, the issue for me isn’t getting rid of them but the way our management is using to do so…looks like those unwanted players didn’t appreciate the way too and that’s why they are still there giving the management tough time and Weston is one of them.

sucks. seems every player i personally believe in just cant catch a break at this club

  4. I’m a big fan of Wes, I just think he thought there was going to be more of a market for himself to try and get a higher salary from Juve. I actually believe he wants to stay at Juve for a long time after his Leeds failure. He thought the grass was greener in the Prem and realized it wasn’t.

I believe it was purely a business decision on Juve’s part, Wes didn’t accept their offer and it was probably as well as they would do and let him know they wouldn’t do a Rabiot and lose him for nothing.

After the comfort blanket of Berhalter getting fired and Pochettino most likely taking over the US, he realized that he may lose his spot before the world cup if he didn’t play for 10 months.

He will be a great backup to Koopmeiners as the “10” or one of the dual “8.” They aren’t traditional 10s but can interpret it differently and how Motta wants, IMO.
