Best for him to move his career elsewhere so he can get the minutes he deserves, but very saddened he couldn’t do that here

Always sad to see academy players who love the club leave, not to mention ones that are actually premier league quality. Unfortunately, Skippy isn’t what we need right now, but I hope he can kick on and kill it at Leicester, and maybe he can come back in his prime!

This one is hard to take, always thought he’d make it and be a future captain 😭

Sad this. Thought he was gonna be our skipper for years to come. Hope he revives his career and comes back.

  5. Leicester saved a few quid too by asking us to take him up there on the team bus today lol

  6. Will be sad to see him go. So many of us were rooting for him and he looked the part for a bit before injuries. Always sad to see academy players go but to sell an academy player for this amount is a great deal.

  7. Thrilled to watch a midfield duo of Winks and Skipp. In a perfect world they’d be top performers here, but nice to see at Leicester as well

I remembered when someone made a tintin style wallpaper with him holding Gundogan

been my wallpaper for years, looks like I have to change it now

goodbye Skipp, wish you all the best

so.. which side for today’a game? how about half and half, first half for Spurs, second half for the fox fc

  10. Oh, dear Skippy! I know it’s for the best for both sides, but I’m still feeling quite sad. I really wanted him to work at Spurs. Best of luck, Skippy. You’re still young; maybe you’ll come back to us one day. 🤍

It seems that while most Leicester fans don’t doubt his quality, it’s not a high priority position right now. It seems the messaging they’ve recieved is that they’re skint and have now dropped £25M on Skippy.

I’d hazard a guess this was an opportunity signing and part of the £40M we paid for Maddison is being recouped here in some form, in exchange for counting all the money in this year’s books, which would obviously inflate the transfer fee. But I’m not an accountant, it’s just a guess.

  12. Some dude just dropped to his knees in the Crisps isle in my local Tesco, clutching a multi pack of Skips and crying his eyes out

  13. That one syringe ruined him 🙁

Could have solved our 6 problem for a decade to come but wish him the best in the future

Was so elated to see this boy get some minutes, somewhat gutted to see him go. He gave it all for the badge, there’s no doubt in that. Can’t wait to see him smash it at Leicester…at least 36 out of 38 games a season.

    Love you, Skippy 🤍
