High profile player in his prime for not much money, already knows the club and area so less time to settle and has the potential to be resold for a fat raise if he has a good season.
Hopefully last year was him ‘bedding in’ and he’s a bit more impressive second time around.

I like it.

Eh, he got a lot of stick for being fairly average last season, we do need depth at fullback

Someone with those kinds of allegations against him shouldn’t be anywhere near our club

Not good business if true. He was poor more often than not and we shouldn’t use depth as an excuse to fill the bench with below par players. And he’s got a less than desirable reputation.

Got to say I’m not blown away by the idea.
For what reason? Was he really that impressive?
Can kind of see why.

Just for balance, the athletic reported we were unlikely to go in for him this morning…

I think we might sign him, and sell Neco. He’s been linked to a few places the last few weeks, and didn’t start well in pre season or on Saturday
With respect, Nottingham Forest dot news is not exactly a reliable source. Good thing too as I don’t think this would be a great idea.
