Robbie Lyle joins Dougie Critchley and Michael McCubbin on this week’s Sky Mobile Transfer Show to discuss whether Arsenal’s signings make them title favourites ahead of Man City.

Having already secured the permanent signing of David Raya and Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Arteta’s side are continuing to work on a deal to bring Real Sociedad and Spain midfielder Mikel Merino to the Emirates. Is he what the Gunners need? Do they still need to strengthen in other areas? What about Arsenal’s outgoings? Will they regret letting Emile Smith Rowe join Fulham, and will Eddie Nketiah’s expected exit force them into the market for a forward?

We discuss whether Man City’s capture of Ilkay Gundogan swings the pendulum back in their favour and ask whether Savio is the only forward Pep Guardiola’s men need to secure a 5th straight Premier League title.

We wrap up the show with our Sky Mobile “Switch of the Week,” where the lineup pick their favourite transfer from the past week!

  1. I don't have anything against Robbie he's a very good guy and you can see that he loves Arsenal but we have to be honest about everything Arsenal are going against Pep Guardiola someone is very serious about winning and having a striker who is Kai won't make us the league

  2. Asking an Arsenal fan about Arsenal, what do you expect?😏

And Robbie saying Arsenal and Man City are joint favourites for the title is just pure disrespect to a team that has won FOUR IN A ROW and you've won nothing!

    My answer? NO!

  3. Robbie is not an arsenal fan. He is a leach that sucks blood from you. That's what he did and started his YouTube channel. He thinks he is good but, he is just a jack ass. To make money get god wanger sacked. As an Arsenal fan I don't want this guy anywhere near my club.

  4. My boyfriend thought it would be sexy to surprise me with a lap dance. It ended with him tripping over the coffee table. The only thing he was grinding on was the floor🍓

  5. Arsenal had a good year injury wise last season, when every other team had issues. Was that luck, or are the physios at Arsenal that good? Anyway, steer clear like last year and there is a chance. Can't say they are favourites though. Tough game this weekend as well.

  6. If we dont get a center forward that can score at least 25-30 goals a season we might fall short again…(Toney,Osimhen,Viktor Gyökeres all still available)

We have a good squad but during key moments last season we needed that firepower where a forward can just come up with a strike when we needed it most…Havertz and Jesus are good but they lack that cutting edge of a proper center forward

  7. Obviously arsenal are winning it. Arteta literally gets more points every single season as he builds his squad and they become stronger. This summer is no different. While city haven't got above 93 points in 5 seasons with the best squad in the league.

Dosen't take a genius to realize what this means.

  8. Lots of experts in these comment sections… No surprise England dominates football globally with the tactical and technical understanding everyone has. It’s ridiculous. Bravo to all you experts for knowing everything about football whilst having no qualifications or experience in elite sports. Your opinions are well received and I bow down to your intellect. Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏
