      I’m was concerned that Merino is not strictly the profile we need. I get that his ball winning ability is top tier but I feel the left hand side lacks elite ball progression and passing.

      Actually looking at his stats, his passing doesn’t seem as bad as I first thought. £33M (give or take) is pretty good.

      ESR out for £27+7 -> Calafiori in for £42M

      Nketiah out for £30M(roughly) -> Merino for £33M

      Good business so far. I feel like an attacker is still needed but the market for the very best is bad right now.
