Just get this done and get him out of this club. I simply do not give one fuck about him.

I get so tired of these rumours from Serie A clubs. It’s always “loan with zero obligation & Utd pay his wages” aka “we’ll have a free player for a year, thanks!”

The big elephant in the room is how they are gonna deal with the salary issue. I don’t think Sancho is the type who would take a pay-cut to get game time somewhere else so they might ask us to give him some sort of compensation.

  4. This makes complete sense. Their new manager is Motta. Motta likes to play fluid football and likes to retain the ball, he prefers inverted wingers who are good at keeping possession. Sancho is definitely better than he’s shown in his time at United. They’ve just let go of szczesny and chiesa(probably). That will save them €400k in weekly wages. They’ll probably receive some money for chiesa as well that they’ll look to reinvest. £35m and his wages covered will get this over the line and I think Sancho will do well in a slower league with a manager as good as Motta.

  5. £40m and they can have.

it helps recover his cost and i believe £40m means his amortisation cost is gone from the clubs accounts so we wont be saddled with it going forward.

clearly another player who should have been looked at much more then our senior recruitment did with all the issues he has. time to move on and look for hungry players who can be stars for the club

  6. I can’t believe how much money we put this guy on, if he had a remotely normal-ish wage he’d be long gone

This reminds me of playing Football Manager and seeing the “Wanted” tag on a player I’m desperate to get rid of, only for the teams interested to never make a bid.

It’s actually happened with Jadon Sancho 💀

Doubt they send any bid our way before getting the Koopmeiners deal done, don’t get your hopes up boyos.

  9. I’d almost take any amount if it meant getting rid of his wages. We are double stacked on each wing we do not need him and the relationship is clearly broken

  10. Unfortunately this is what happens when we apply high wages to players. It’s difficult to get rid of them and we end up selling them for peanuts later on.

I remember when we first signed Sancho and I read about the wages.

Not only was I surprised, I was confused as it was his first contract with us and thus if he another contract extension we’d have to improve on the already idiotic amount he was getting.

It was a lose lose situation, something of which Ed Woodward was a professional and we’re still suffering from those decisions now.

  11. Italian clubs shopping in premier league is much like me shopping in Paris. I’m going to drink cheap wine and say oui oui oui as I walk out the door.

If it’s 40m then I consider that a good bit of business. No piggy bank will be left unbroken at juventus if this goes through.

Knock 10m off the price so they can afford his wages, just want him gone at this stage. Take the hit and one of the latest learnings from the previous era

  14. The issue is even if the bid is accepted I don’t want think that bum is going to accept lower wages unless United pays off the rest of his contract

  15. I was there 3000 years ago when Juventus bought Buffon for a world record fee. They even bought De Ligt for €75M.

  16. Okay serious talk: Why not just use him as a false #9? We only have two young lads up top at present

The entire football world was unanimous in their assessment of Sancho’s performance against PSG: It was the single greatest display of sporting prowess ever beheld. Likely never to be bettered in our lifetimes. Once he is removed from Manchester United he is an incomparable talent.

So £40 million is a bargain surely. You’d be mad to pass this up. The folks on social media can’t be wrong!
