I liked Klopp’s policy of explicitly not mentioning players in the media. But I do appreciate this directness from Slot a lot.
If it becomes a habit every week where he explains his exclusions/substitutions with specific players… that’s when it becomes an issue for me. Let’s protect players from media sound bites and speculation. He’s a top tier professional so I’m expecting Slot to keep further decisions in the dressing room only
