Defense is catastrophic. I’m sorry, but Kim needs to benched. We should play Dier instead, until Stanisic is fit again. Pavlovic should rotate for the midfield position with Kimmich, so we can start Palhinha. Defensively our midfield just isn’t it.

Why didn’t Tel get play time?

A lot to be desired in the central defense. I would imagine Stanisic and Ito would have been starting if not for their injuries. In the midfield, I don’t think Pavlovic should be starting, still seems a bit too jittery on the ball, doesn’t slow it down enough in possession, not sure why Paulihna isn’t starting in that position, he’s the perfect fit.
I am pretty optimistic about our attacking look though. I think Gnabry and Olise are a good starting pair on the wings. Coman and Sane are a great double swap off the bench. And then we have some different looks for the 9/10 substitutions as well with Mueller and Tel.

Musiala our best player for now. I am impressed by Boey performance also Muller is the heart of Bayern immediately after he entered, the game changed for good. Kim is very bad defensively and doesnt deserve to be a starter need to be benched more. I need to see more of Gnabry this season he seems promising unlike last year.

Last years team under Tuchel would have drawn or lost. The fact we came back and won is a big deal. The mentality is different this year. We are playing creative attacking football. Taking chances, being brave. A good start, we will keep improving.

Good match, it’s the first in the season so it’s normal that the team isn’t at its best.
Attack was good and creative, but the defense was very bad. Kim and Upa weren’t solid and made many mistakes.
We will improve, for now we have won 3 points.

The back line is lacking. Both Kim and Upamecano always seem to have a mistake in them when attempting to play out the back. On a positive note though, the attack had moments of looking very lethal.
