      The characteristics position and of the midfielders that we have :

      1. Romeo Lavia – Deeper 6
      2. Caicedo – Advanced 6
      3. Enzo – Deeper and Advanced 8
      4. KDH – Advanced 8

      Here’s how I can see Maresca utilize these 4 players depending on what opposition we face

      1. If we are against a strong attacking side, let’s say like Man City where we want more defensive security I can see us using all 3 of Caicedo, Lavia and Enzo
      2. Against a mid table team or decent counter attacking side, 2 of Caciedo and Enzo are good enough as we want 4 proper attackers to help more in scoring like against Wolves
      3. Against proper low block team, Lavia and Enzo provide a good creativity and enough defensive security so using them to help create more progressive passes would help counter a low block team that defends with 6-8 players in their box areas
      4. KDH is gonna rotate with Enzo whenever there is weaker opponent as he can help both defensively and help us make progressive passes through his creativity

      PS – I don’t think we are gonna keep Casadei or Carney from the looks of it

      Also with Lesley Ugo going on loan, getting a good cheap versatile player that can play both as 6 and 8 would be good as as there is less pressure to play games on just 4 of Caicedo, Lavia, Enzo and KDH

      This would help them stay injury free because Lavia is still not totally recovered from his previous injury

      After being linked to sancho i wouldn’t be surprised if we get linked to players like rashford, grealish, etc

      Not that I’m disagreeing with the approach, just find it funny that whoever is doing this scouting has a hard-on for forgotten ballers

      Can someone reassure me that if we sign Osimhen, then Guiu will go on loan?

      With Osimhen I think that’s way too many attacking players who can play the 9. If need be we can have an academy player take some minutes if both Jackson and Osimhen need rest. Else this is hampering Guiu development.

      we would have insane depth then at each attacking position:

      LW: Nkunku, Mudryk (+ Neto)

      CAM: Palmer, Felix (+ Nkunku)

      RW: Noni, Neto (+ Nkunku)

      CF: Jackson, Osimhen (+ Nkunku, Felix, Washington?)

      On another note am i the only one excited about Sancho? He has been so poor but maybe under the right manager and team he can re discover his Dortmund form? Maybe a low risk gamble to replace mudryk?
