That’s a decent price for a player who had 1 good season in League 1
The deal still relies on us getting a replacement for it to go through.
Not majorly sad about him going. Never look arsed when playing and hasn’t done enough to try to force a move away.

I am not normally a fan of trash talking other teams, so apologies for this but what in all seriousness are Hull offering that we aren’t?
Are they strong playoff contenders? Was the wage higher? I just don’t get how after a successful season where you looked comfortable, you would up and leave to that caliber a team?
A Champ team the size of Leeds or Burnley I could understand, but Hull?

I’m glad we didn’t get him for that price. We don’t need him that badly and that’s a lot of money for us better spent elsewhere

Apparently its £2 million upfront with £2.5 million in add-ons based on performance
Seems an OK price, probably a bit steep due to being deadline day
Now we really just need another striker and another winger

Our transfer window has been utterly bizarre. Still no idea if we’re in for a promotion push or a relegation battle! Desperately in need of a striker.
