Not a fan of this pseudo analysis. It’s the first few games of the season, where a lot of internationals were away for a good amount of time due to the European Cup, and Kompany is a coach that needs time with his players (not unlike Guardiola, yes yes I made the comparison again).
As long as the results are there there’s no problem, I’m confident the football will follow. He’s got the squad and he seems to have the buy in of key players like Muller and looks like he’s utilizing him well, give it some time.

Yeah I normally don’t trust bavarianfootballworks, they are more about creating narratives than trying to describe things objectively. I get it because it creates more engagement and they have to survive, so to each his own.
Either way, I read the whole thing to give it a chance. They make some fair points in their criticisms, like the team looking shapeless/chaotic for long spells, and I agree with their take on the squad selection. but they should balance it out as there were also positive aspects to yesterday’s match.
I disagree on their take on the wingers, Tel was not good, but Gnabry was probably the best player and constantly was able to receive and create dangerous passes, while also helping defend the flank.
