  1. That and I reckon he had a good showing too (not biased of course who’d say that!). Very mobile, constantly moving between space and giving passing options, set up 2 key passes that could have been assists, some nice moves, and generally a pretty confident performance instead of some anonymous debut.

So damn proud for him and hope the club is able to convey how much something silly like this means to us too. He keeps on putting in performances like that and I reckon he can justify a regular position being called up. There’s a bit too much star talent in England’s midfield to always make it on, but I could see him becoming a really sparky sub option or more if he keeps showing what he’s got like today!

  2. overhyped-unamazing on

Looked tidy. Good awareness of pockets of space, always showing for the ball, neat control and distribution, played Saka in with a beauty, and decked Dara O’Shea fighting for a 50-50 ball in the box. The Morgan we know and love.

  3. Did himself proud with the time he had. Always finding pockets of space and offering himself. A couple of delicious 1st time passes. I’ll put the rash tackle down to sheer enthusiasm.

So proud of him. He’s done us proud from the moment he signed. He’s a little wizard that can turn plodding play into an electric break-away when you least expect it.

One of the few players since Collymore that I involuntarily find myself standing up for when he does something.
