Rico Lewis is truly underrated. If he could prove in defence, he would be our heir to Kyle Walker

  1. I don’t think he’s an heir to Kyle, in the sense that he provides something different as a fullback. He’s way more versatile tactically and better going forward. You can slot him into midfield, have him play inverted, have him overlapping, etc. At the same time, Kyle is a physical specimen, and at his best, is easily the best all-around right back in the PL ever, and is even in the conversation for best right back ever. But Rico can give us something different in a very good way if he manages to stay fit and stays on this course. He’s also hopefully a better human being lol

  2. That’s because we don’t need the media to show off our talents. We do them both on and off the pitch. Rodri is a living proof.

Rico isn’t a fullback the way Kyle Walker is. Like Rico is a great midfield player that defends well enough that we can use him as a pivot. Walker is fast and lethal in shutting down attacks. Rico needs to get a little faster and stronger and then he can be the “heir” until then he’s just a better for our attack player than Walker.
