Usually contract negotiations with players who are young and injured (this sounds bad) are the way for clubs to manage better wages and contracts since they have the upper hand on this.

Its sad because I wanted Bernal to play a fully season and see the player he was gonna become but football sometimes is very cruel with injuries , but hopefully the contract we give him is long term and both parties can be good about it
