  1. He’s good enough for first team football at premier league level. Don’t blame him for wanting out.

  2. Completely justified. Imagine being told you’re going to take over from Alisson and then the club signs someone else to do it. Wish the guy the best.

He has been open about wanting to leave since last year but no team matched Liverpool’s valuation.

1 year left on the contract next summer so will be moving on for around 15m plus some bonuses I think.

  4. It makes sense, and I don’t blame him either. I’m still hoping for more world-class players and a top-notch coach. For me, Kelleher didn’t quite meet that standard, and honestly, neither does Slot. It’s strange—Liverpool is a “big club,” yet it often seems like we have to dig deep to find those hidden gems. I appreciate how we develop players and have a knack for discovering diamonds in the rough, but it’s still frustrating that we’re not attracting big names to the club. We took a chance on Klopp, and it paid off, but I’m still surprised we couldn’t secure a more experienced manager. I’m hopeful but still cautious.

  5. Can’t begrudge him for wanting to go.

He’s way too good to be a backup but I’m not sure I could see him ever winning the starting job now. However he’ll 100% start for a lot of premier league teams.

Been an excellent professional and a behemoth in the cup wins in recent years.

  6. he wants to be a starter and alisson has at least 2-3 more seasons i would think. i don’t think anyone thought he was going to stay.

  7. He needs to go to a club at the top level, he’s way too good for a mid table PL club.

I think he’s needed at Barca, MATS has been awful for them recently. We could do with the cash aswell.

  8. I don’t even think he is on that high of a wage at Liverpool (could be wrong) he is very underrated and I’m surprised he hasn’t moved this summer with Allison back, he is easily good enough to be a number 1 for a top club in any league
