I’m actually pretty confused. He was like 21 when we signed him. Was he just not good at Wolfsburg or did we easily land the biggest steal in franchise history? He has a chance not to just be great, but is a top 5 CB in the world right now imo and has the potential to be something insanely special

Scouting reports said there were parts of his game that needed improvement, and Wolfsburg’s defensive prowess didn’t stand out as league best or anything, so he would’ve been underrated a bit. Obviously his strength fits Ange’s style of play exceptionally well.

The confidence and aggressiveness is great. The speed is just insane. He is the fastest CB I have ever seen
