  2. If it is the case then we’ll know quickly enough cause we’ll have the likes of Fabrizio Romano tweeting every 72 hours from February onwards about the exact amount, the expiry date, any conditions attached, which clubs are considering it etc.

    I think £120m-£150m is a fair amount, but we need it to be with the condition that it can’t be activated if we finish in the CL.

    If we’re outside the CL then I can understand why one of the best strikers on the planet would want to spend the peak of his career competing for trophies, he’s not a Geordie and he’s done well for us. I’d hope he’d go abroad but I doubt anyone can afford him.
