That price is a joke surely?

  1. Costs me more for 2 cinema tickets and nachos these days. To watch celtic finally win in the cha pipns league? Priceless.

  2. Was exactly the same price last year for general sale tickets. Shite, but not the £94 Aston Villa are humping their fans out of, so…

Not merely indifference, but it’s just a bit more than a Derby ticket to see Celtic play some Champions League fitbaw.

I’d personally take that all day long. And a win?!

  3. I’m pretty shocked at the hospitality offering for CL games too. £395 each to drink in the (frankly shite) WEST brewery before the game and get a bus to the stadium.

Didn’t expect it to be cheap but for that price you’d expect it to be on-site at least.

My whole life football fans have been saying “that’s how it is these days, suck it up” as the game becomes ever more lucrative, scammy, grifty, unaffordable for ordinary working fans. We should have some pride.

  5. As much as football is my no.1 sport I point blank refuse to pay ticket prices like this to pay an average player 20k a week, not happening 🤨

    Supply and demand.

If you have a queue of folk willing to spend money and you only have so many seats then you need to increase pricing to suit.

I’ll have you know I paid £180 about 6 years ago when we got both red bull teams for 3 match package.

So 6 years later and you are getting champions league not Europa for same price per game.

    It’s a very good price.

Put it this way folk I know pay £2500 a year for hospitality season tickets and European package.

So £60 for a one off game is fuck all to the club in reality.

    Have you ever stepped outside?

How much is a cinema ticket at IMAX?

How much is a concert ticket at the hydro?

How much is a return train to Edinburgh?

How much does it cost to park in the town for 2 hours on pay and display?

£60 is fuck all I’ll spend that in nandos.

Isn’t uefa putting a cap on tickets next year supposedly? My club are in the conference league and were getting the 3 home matches for that.

  8. Shite price but realistically, there won’t be many of these tickets going.

I’d imagine most season ticket holders will have bought their own ticket and £46 a game for them isn’t bad.

  9. Feel like living in America for a bit has completely skewed my perception of ticket prices. I paid $160/ticket to see Celtic in a friendly this summer. 60 quid for a champions league night seems like a bargain in comparison considering the demand for tickets.
