  1. This was a decent press conference, says the right things. But it’s all about results and that part needs some work.

  2. Some of these questions are really bottom tier. Would love for him to be pressed more about how we intend to play and how he goes about with making the players execute his plan on the pitch. Instead he’s asked ‘is Southampton a must-win game’ when he literally said we have to win every game before this.

  3. Tons of waffling and vague responses. He refuses to acknowledge the poor performances and issues honestly and directly. It’s reflective of the culture of excuses and delusional perceptions he seems to have cultivated at the club recently.

He’s always trying to pretend that things are going well and that there was some bad luck here, a bad decision there, some other act of god or whatever. The players “believe in the quality of the process”. Excuses me? What fucking progress ETH? It’s your 3rd season and the state of our team is like you took over a couple of weeks ago.

  4. I hate the ‘so you think next game is must win game’ question. I mean you know the answer so why bother. Lazy journalism
